Our "Year in the Life" baby program...
One of our favorite things is photographing babies here at Ellaprints. Babies change SO much and so quickly! We feel great photographs of your baby are vital. We structure our YEAR IN THE LIFE program over 5 sessions: maternity, newborn, 4 months, 8 months, and one year old. This creates a wonderfully comprehensive photographic timeline of your baby's growth over the course of his or her first year.
Our YEAR IN THE LIFE baby program starts before your baby is born, with a maternity session. Tasteful, beautiful images capture this very special time in your life and your baby's development.
The second session is the NEWBORN SESSION which takes place one to three weeks after the birth of your baby. Newborns change faster than at any other time of life, and these precious images will capture all the funny wrinkles, sleepy expressions and cuddly warmth of your little newborn.
The third session takes place at approximately FOUR MONTHS of age to capture those sunny smiles and great expressions.
At EIGHT MONTHS, your baby will most likely be sitting up independently and have a whole new set of expressions. This is a great time for Dad to become part of the process. Bring in some momentos that indicate a special bond between Dad and baby. For instance, bring in the baseball glove that Dad anticipates using when he and his son play catch in the future. Or a special book that baby may enjoy hearing now or sometime soon.
At the ONE YEAR mark, we will capture your baby standing and, if they are ready, taking steps and marks the time around your baby's first birthday.
Depending on weather conditions, we can also take your baby outdoors for photos in our gardens in addition to our studio photography. Our gardens are available from the end of April through November. Grandparents are always welcome to take part in the session as well as parents, or even special aunts and uncles.
The basic price for our YEAR IN THE LIFE program is very reasonable, and includes one 10 inch print from each session. Options include baby books with images from each sessions, baby albums, wall prints, and specialty items such as birth announcements, holiday image ornaments, etc. Prices upon request.
