About our sessions
Ellaprints is a custom photography studio. For you, this means images of the highest quality personalized for you. We take the time to find out what you have envisioned for your photographs. Sessions are never rushed, and your images receive finishing touches with skill and sensitivity.
The first step in the process is a consultation, either in person or...if that isn't convenient, via the telephone. During this consultation, Ella will talk with you to determine what your goals are concerning your images. This includes style, possible framing, size and the eventual place where the images will be shown whether they are being used for Christmas cards or a 40 X 60 canvas wall print. Being starting the photographic journey, it's important to know the destination or destinations.
The second step is the session. Ellaprints has a fully equipped professional indoor studio and a variety of gardens and grounds to use for outdoor portraits. Weather permitting, we often use both the indoor studio and the gardens during photo sessions. If the weather doesn't permit on the day we have scheduled your portraits, we can usually reschedule within one to two weeks, to take advantage of better weather. Your session will take one to two hours.
Approximately one to two weeks following your session, you will be asked to come back in to preview your images. At this point you will see the images, be able to choose your favorites and decide which ones to print and in what sizes. We offer framing, if desired; special artwork ,such as hand-painting; collages or composite images; albums; photo books; special finishes such as canvas or fine art paper, and as many photo products as you can imagine.
Approximately four to eights weeks later, your finished images will be ready.
